SERIES
In the area of Criminology, she researches narratives present in the Jury Court and the use of algorithms in the fight against crime. She is the author of two fiction series in the investigative thriller genre, optioned for national and international production companies.
She was a screenwriter for the fiction and fantasy series "Dois Tempos", season 1, for Disney/Star +, a co-production with Argentina, directed by Vera Egito. She also wrote two seasons of “Americana” for Disney/Star +, a period fiction series in the psychological thriller genre scheduled to premiere this year.
She adapted the book "Sinto Muito" written by Nuno Lobo Antunes for a melodramatic medical series for Bro Filmes, a production company in Portugal.
She is the author and general director of the documentary series "Cinéticas", which talks about the relationship between female filmmakers and the characters in their films, made in Brazil and other Latin American countries. In the post-production phase, scheduled to premiere in November of this year.
She wrote the 4th season of the series “Psi” with Contardo Calligaris and Thiago Dottori for HBO. At Globo, she was one of the writers of the series “Carcereiras” with Fernando Bonassi and Marçal Aquino, adapted from the book “Presidiárias” by Drauzio Varela. She co-created and wrote the script for a fictional series for Globo about the reality of a psychologist in the Rio de Janeiro Military Police battalion.
As a screenwriter, she implemented and coordinated the Script and Content department at the São Paulo production company Dogs Can Fly for almost 6 years.
Through her production company, she created the formats “Lado H” (licensed for Argentina and Chile) and “Sexo no Sofá” shown at the Roberto Marinho Foundation.
FEATURE FILMS
She was the screenwriter for a true crime feature film, by Boutique Filmes for Netflix. Expected release date is late 2024.
She is currently working on her first feature-length fiction film about the fires in the Brazilian savannah.
She adapted the book “Agora Agora” by Carlos Eduardo Pereira, a finalist for the 2023 Jabuti Award for feature-length fiction film. The project was selected for the Varilux Laboratory 2023 and is in the process of being negotiated in the market. She was a co-writer and researcher for the documentary “Buenozaire” about a soccer team in the Pernambuco forest area, which will be released in theaters soon.
She wrote the documentary “Nosso Sangue, Nosso Corpo” for Fox, produced in Brazil, India, Argentina and South Africa and shown in Latin America, the USA and Europe, about the relationship between young people from Generation Z and menstruation, mapped in different countries.
THEATER
She is the playwright for the play “Gabrielas” about the life of Gabriela Leite, currently on tour in the state of São Paulo.
She adapted the book “Dedo Podre” about the love life of actress Nivea Stelmann.
She is currently writing a play in Spanish to premiere in Buenos Aires - an independent production.
AWARDS
The documentary “Nosso Sangue, Nosso Corpo”, shown by Fox, won the 2019 Emmy Award.
OTHERS
She has developed bibles for fiction series and feature films for production companies such as Paranoid, Pródigo, Viacom and brands such as Red Bull, Sky, among others.
She was a researcher at the Creative Center coordinated by Thiago Dottori and formed by Di Moretti, Marcos Lazarini, Leo Cortez and Felipe Sant’angelo; whose themes were: soccer, subcelebrities, public health, pornography industry and education (with a focus on the teachers’ lounge).
She worked as a consultant on a suspense and romance feature film, unreleased for a production company in Maceió and is currently providing consultancy for a fiction series about 2 women who use their scientific knowledge to take revenge on abusive men.
EDUCATION
She currently lives in Buenos Aires where she studies drama with Mariano Tenconi Blanco and Ignacio Bardolone.
She has a postgraduate degree in Criminology from PUC-RS, and researches the use of algorithms and AI in combating crime. She has researched the role of wiretaps in investigations by the Federal Police; She has been involved in some of the main lawfare cases in Brazil and around the world.
She studied dramaturgy at Cia do Latão, where she studied “Character Creation” and “Shakespeare’s Dramaturgy”.
She has a degree in Radio and TV. She took scriptwriting courses at the Escuela Internacional de Cinema de Cuba, Robert Mckee, Miguel Machalski, Karl Iglesias (at Globo), among others.
